Chris Arp’s stories have appeared in The Masters Review, The Chicago Quarterly Review, The Brooklyn Rail, Memorious, and The Brooklyn Review, among other publications. Most recently, his story “The Holes in Our Souls” was selected as a Distinguished Story in Best American Short Stories 2023. He is a graduate of NYU’s Creative Writing Program, where he was a finalist for the Axinn Foundation / E.L. Doctorow Fellowship.

Chris is also the author of the test-prep book Up Your Score: An Underground Guide to the ACT, published by Workman Publishing. 

He is currently working on a novel.
